How many students can I add to my classroom?

Duolingo for Schools offers a practical way for teachers to monitor and manage their students' language learning progress. To maintain the quality of the experience, we have set a maximum threshold of 50 students per classroom.

My Duolingo Classroom already has more than 50 students

If you already had a classroom with more than 50 students when we implemented this threshold, your classroom will continue to function with the existing number of students. However, you will not be able to add more students to that particular classroom.

Note: To ensure that classroom leaderboards work as expected, they are only available for classrooms with 50 or fewer students. If your classroom has more than 50 students, the leaderboard feature will not be accessible.
