Using subtitles to learn

Duolingo and chill! Try these tips for using subtitles to supplement your language learning experience:

Watch Again
Play an old favorite with subtitles in the language you are learning. Studies show that this can help you learn new vocabulary words.
Test Yourself
Do your best not to rely on the subtitles for comprehension. Watch for a bit and then check--did you understand correctly?
Take Notes
