Oh no! You logged in, and now your app is displaying a different language than the one you are used to. Most often, this change is the simple result of a teacher joining their students’ classrooms when their students’ home languages differ from their own. Don’t worry, though, we’ll have you back to the right language in no time!
First, click on the flag in the top right screen. This will give you the option to “Add a new course.”
On the next screen, you’ll see a dropdown menu that allows you to select the language you speak. This is the language that the directions for your course, and other important information, will appear in.
Click on this dropdown and select the language you wish to proceed with. From there, you can select any course you are interested in, even one in which you are already enrolled–your progress will not be lost. Once you’ve made your selection, you’re ready to get right back to your regularly-scheduled Duolingo lessons!
