What is a Duolingo Event?
A Duolingo Event is a group experience led by a fluent speaker for language learners to improve their speaking skills. Events are like low-pressure online classrooms that can include conversations, class-like lessons, or other activities like word games or even karaoke!
Events are flexible, but are best when they:
Give attendees opportunities to speak
Gather 5-50 learners
Last for 30-60 minutes
Are focused on 1 language and 1 level (e.g. absolute beginner Spanish)
