How do I remove a student from my classroom?

If you need to remove a student from your classroom, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Students tab in your classroom.
2. Click on the student you would like to remove.
3. Hover over the gear icon next to the student’s name in the top right corner.
4. Click remove student and verify that you would like to remove them from your classroom.

Remember that you will have to re-invite the students if you need to add them to your class later.

Note: If the classroom was created using Google Classroom, it has been automatically synced to your Google Classroom roster. Adding or removing a student from your Google Classroom will automatically add or remove that same student to your Duolingo for Schools classroom.
